Vintage Schatz Electric Torsion Pendulum Type C :-1950's A brass/Glass encased clock of good quality by Schatz of Germany made in 50's The clock was in good working condition till few years ago when we manage to brake suspension spring on it as we moved the house It used to belong to my father, he he was very proud of them, telling me how RARE this battery operated model is For him it would not been problem to repear it, but this goes beyond my technical knowledge I had spare part ready to do it but never felt confident to do it So there is a chance for somebody who knows what is doing to restore it and give it life again It is in good cosmetic condition, glass intact, with patina to brass/that can be cleaned if wish Battery contacts will need cleaning as the are oxidated, but sides where actual battery connects is looking ok clean It is supplied with all original paperwork, old not working battery and spare suspension spring all as seen in photo Measures about 135mm wide x 113mm deep x 230mm high.
